As members of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC) we are continually assessed to ensure our work complies with the latest BS7671 standards.
Each year 12,500 fires are reported as having an electrical source which includes faulty or inadequate wiring - cables, switches, socket outlets & other equipment deteriorate with prolonged use, so they all need to be checked & necessary replacements or repairs made in good time. New Build Electrical Services
We have vast experience of all types of electrical installations in new properties. All work is carried out to BS7671 standards with building control notifications as required by Part P of the building regulations.
New Build work can include early design & consultation with builders & clients followed by the actual installation work through to the testing & hand-over with all electrical certification handled by ourselves.
Part & Full Rewires
Our electricians have many years experience in rewiring existing properties. We offer free quotations for work ranging from a full rewire to a selection of small alterations & repairs.
All domestic installation work (with some minor exceptions) has to be tested & inspected & the client issued with suitable certification. The work also has to be registered with the Local Building Control Body through the Domestic Installer Scheme.
Fuse Board Upgrades
We can provide a free quotation to replace existing rewireable fuseboards with Consumer Units containing Minature Circuit Breakers (MCBs) & Residual Current Devices (RCDs).
In a healthy circuit, phase & neutral currents are balanced. If an earth fault occurs (eg: faulty kettle element) the fault current imbalances the phase & neutral current, which is then detected by the RCD & it quickly isolates the fault.
Security Lighting
We offer lighting services from the change of a lamp to a comprehensive system of outdoor lighting controlled by movement sensors. Both halogen & sodium lighting systems are available.
There are many different security lighting systems from a single light with a built-in sensor to multiple light & sensor installations with a central control panel & sounders.
Showers & Immersion Heaters
We supply & install a range of new showers including the plumbing. We also repair and replace existing shower units & renew immersion heater elements & thermostats.

Night Storage Heaters
We are able to supply & install all sizes of night storage heaters at very competitive prices. As a Dimplex Hotspot store we have access to a whole range of exciting heating options.
Night storage heaters consist of a highly insulated case with dense bricks & heating elements inside. Cheaper off-peak (Economy 7) electricity is used to heat the bricks at night & then give out heat during the day.

We have experience of all types of commercial & industrial wiring systems with contracts including factory units, warehouses, shops, schools, prisons, hospitals, etc.
All new & existing electrical installations must be tested to BS7671 standards Part 7 & Guidance Note 3. This involves testing all circuits, outlets & distribution equipment & issuing the relevant certificates.
